Bourbon Share Event Recap 8/2/2025

On August 2, 2025, the Spring Hill Bourbon Society hosted another unforgettable Bourbon Share Event—a night that perfectly blended rare pours, great company, and a little friendly raffle luck.

A Bourbon Lover’s Dream Lineup

The evening featured a wide range of unique bottles and special picks shared by members:

  • Several Corona SHBS picks were present at the share, with one standout being the Blanton's Gold.

  • Stanley added some prestige to the table with an Evan Williams 12 Year.

  • A crowd favorite was the 117 Old Fitzgerald, which many agreed was a memorable pour.

  • Rounding things out were a few custom bottles hand-crafted by Williams —including a surprising maple bacon vodka that sparked plenty of conversation.

Comfort, Cigars & Community

The event was hosted indoors with AC, making it a comfortable escape from the summer heat. For those who enjoy a good pairing, an outdoor cigar area was available—giving members the chance to unwind with a stick while sipping their favorite pours.

Raffles, Merch & More

The raffle was a hit. With around 15 giveaways, attendees had excellent chances to win bottles and bourbon-related prizes. John Russell walked away with the coveted barrel top, while others snagged bottles like the Old Fitz 7 Year, Weller SR, and Knob Creek 12 Year.

Merchandise tables featured bourbon-inspired goods including Glencairn glasses, barrel heads, and exclusive bourbon society merch.

Live Music to Top It Off

The night wasn’t just about bourbon—it was about the full experience. Attendees were treated to live entertainment, making the evening feel less like a meeting and more like a celebration.

Final Pour

Spring Hill Bourbon Society’s August event once again proved why this community is so special. From the bottles poured to the laughs shared, it was a night where everyone walked away with more than just great bourbon—they left with memories, friendships, and maybe even a new favorite pour.

Until next time, cheers 🥃
